Allstate Coffee Distributors started simply enough, with a desire to help schools in need of funds and at risk of losing valued programs due to cutbacks find a way to supplement those losses. Knowing that at times it is the very programs, be it Sports, Music, Drama, Art, Mechanical or whatever that keeps a child coming back to school day after day. So we set out to help bridge the gap and find a way to help keep vital programs funded.

Seeing the need in other areas also, such as Nonprofits, Charities, Youth Sports, Churches, we expanded our mission into many worthy causes, and have teamed up with them to give back a portion of each purchase of Fresh Roasted Coffee to those in need. By choosing your approved preferred charity/institution and adding their ID# to your order at checkout you ensure that a portion of your purchase will go to that chosen cause.

We know there are many who desire to help those in need but often unsure how best to do so. We have built a vehicle by which the desires of many can combine to help the needs of many more. What better way to enjoy a delicious cup of Fresh Roasted Coffee than knowing that with each sip you are helping better your fellow man.

Mexican Chipas Organic/Fair Trade - 1lb bag - $14.00

The Chiapas region of Mexico is right on the border of Guatemala's Huehuetenango region, so the coffees share some similar traits. A mild, medium coffee, it has the fruity and nutty flavor notes associated with the region, with some hints of clove and earthiness. The acidity is bright, but not over powering, and the aroma is delicate and fresh.

Fair Trade is much more than a fair price! Fair Trade principles include:

Fair Price: Democratically organized farmer groups receive a guaranteed minimum floor price and an additional premium for certified organic products. Farmer organizations are also eligible for pre-harvest credit.

Fair Labor Conditions: Workers on Fair Trade farms enjoy freedom of association, safe working conditions, and living wages. Forced child labor is strictly prohibited.

Direct Trade: With Fair Trade, importers purchase from Fair Trade producer groups as directly as possible, eliminating unnecessary middlemen and empowering farmers to develop the business capacity necessary to compete in the global marketplace.

Democratic and Transparent Organizations: Fair Trade farmers and farm workers decide democratically how to invest Fair Trade revenues.

Community Development: Fair Trade farmers and farm workers invest Fair Trade premiums in social and business development projects like scholarship programs, quality improvement trainings, and organic certification.

Environmental Sustainability: Harmful agrochemicals and GMOs are strictly prohibited in favor of environmentally sustainable farming methods that protect farmers’ health and preserve valuable ecosystems for future generations.

Q. What if people don't drink coffee?

A. You're right there are people who do not drink coffee, however they no doubt know people who do, and what better gift than something people actually enjoy.

Q. Can people reorder automatically if they want more and we still get credit?

A. Yes, we can set up for reorders on our website and customize to your timeframe.

Q. Isn't it hard to sell coffee in the summer?

A. No, coffee is enjoyed anytime regardless of weather, and is also enjoyed hot or iced so it’s perfect anytime.

Q.What type of groups do you work with?

A. Any group desiring to raise funds such as Schools, Sports groups, Churches, and Nonprofits Clubs, to name a few. We will design a program just for your group as needed.
